I love El Nopal! It's a staple in Hollister than I have gone to since I was a little kid. Prices are more than reasonable and always fresh. Just be aware, they only take cash so make sure to have some on hand when you go. If you're looking for an excellent Panderia, this is one of my favorites!
Best pan dulce ever !!!!!! Best tortillas ! Best foodies !We drive 3 hours to visit grandpa and always stop here before we go and when we arrive. My family loves when I bring a dozen of goodies. :)
When it's that time of year for making tamales I order my masa from El Nopal. l have tried other corn masa but none compares to the quality and price as that from El Nopal bakery. If that wasn't enough their Mexican bread is fresh as well as delicious. Best authentic Mexican style baked fresh and daily. And last but not least both corn and flour tortillas are excellent. When I make tacos I buy their corn tortillas and make my own shells. The corn tortillas are really tasty and the freshness becomes more apparent with the end result of my homemade taco shells. Great service and reasonable prices. I highly recommend trying their baked bread go early the bread sells out quickly.
LOVE THIS PLACE!! The only downside is that it's cash only but good for them! Pan dulce is always so fluffy and moist, don't get me started on the sugar cookies! THEY ARE SO YUMMY!! Prices are super reasonable too.

Been going there since I was a kid ive keeped it a tradition with my daughter. My grandmother used to live down the street from there. I went on in town.I always have to stop there before I go back home 🏡
Incredible flavor, lifetimes worth of consistency, and staff that will glad help someone less familiar with the offerings understand the wonder they are offering. Weekend menu is the best (menudo y tamales) and don't miss out on the tortillas.
